Three Steps to Become an Aspirant

Step 1

Become a Member

Register as a fully paid-up member of the People’s Party for at least six months.

Step 2

Apply & Vetted

Submit your aspirant application and pass the integrity and suitability review.

Step 3

Get Nominated

Win the party nomination and campaign for the seat with full party support.

Join the race

  • Kenyan citizen of voting age
  • Member in good standing
  • No criminal record
  • Residency in target county

Aspirant Questions

Aspirant registration closes 90 days before the party primaries. Deadlines are announced through the press and county offices.

A modest administrative fee is charged to process applications and conduct integrity checks. Fee waivers are available for youth under 30.

Our code of conduct requires all aspirants to respect the outcome of party nominations and support the selected candidate.
